Frequently Asked Questions

Do you know if the SelfView assessment is confidential?

Everything we do is HIPAA-compliant.  Only the patient, doctor, and therapist will know their assessment results.  We collect the data from SelfView anonymously for ongoing research and to continually improve the assessment. We will never know your identity.

What is the cost of SelfView?

The cost for the assessment is $10, and it is usually entirely covered by health insurance using CPT 96127, which calls for a $15 reimbursement. CMS allows for as many retests as medically necessary. Could you check with relevant insurance carriers for their details?

How long does Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) take?

Our therapists have been trained to deliver focused, effective therapy, and you should expect to have four or five therapy sessions.

What will I learn from CBT?

CBT trains us to recognize, question, and change our automatic and often negative responses to everyday events and health conditions. This puts you more in control of your life.

What is the cost of CBT?

Therapy with one of our Ph.D. psychologists will cost $145 per one-hour session, depending on your location. Often, this is covered by your insurance in whole or in part.  You will be asked to pay that amount if there is a co-pay.

How will I sign up for CBT?

Your doctor’s office can make an appointment with a PsycHealth therapist, or you can go to a local therapist of your choice.
